Lin is running this unique one day course in conjunction with Physioimpulse exploring the integration of Myofascial release techniques with Yoga poses (Asanas). Following an introduction to Myofascial release, ‘Anatomy Trains’ and a review of current fascial techniques, we will discuss how yoga postures can be effortlessly integrated into clinical practice to maximise patient outcomes.
Practical sessions learning to apply myofascial techniques in progressive postures/positions will enable participants to utilise these two harmonious concepts to optimise therapeutic benefits of treatment. Reference will be made to Myers’ Anatomy Trains’ concepts throughout the day as they complement yoga theory so well.
The course is suitable for those new to both Yoga and Myofascial release or practitioners with experience of either of the skills who would like to explore the concepts further.
This course is open to Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Sports Therapists.
Following course completion participants will:
- Have increased confidence in applying Myofascial techniques
- Have a greater understanding of Yoga principles and postures.
- Effectively combine fascial techniques with yoga postures.
- Feel relaxed and supple!
This course will be held at:
Location: Cossham Hospital Bristol
