This is a 6-week rehabilitation course for individuals post-injury, living with a health condition or anyone with a specific health aim. This YogaPhysio course is ideal for anyone interested in starting or building a Yoga practice but doesn’t feel they’re able to attend a regular class.
The classes will be small and will provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to work. You will be taught individualised practices within the class environment to meet your needs/aims.
Each class will include physical postures and sequences which will be developed over the 6 weeks. Meditation, breathing practices and a guided relaxation will also be included as these are excellent in supporting rehab and mental wellbeing.
Each week will have a slightly different focus and we will mix physiotherapeutic approaches with Yoga Philosophy to assist you in moving towards better health and wellbeing.
- Those attending will work together as a class, as well as working individually gain foundational Yoga practices.
- You will learn practices and techniques that give you a greater ability to manage your own health.
- You will be supported and encouraged to develop a small home practice which is essential if you want to reap the most benefit for your efforts.
- By attending the course you have the opportunity to develop more vibrant and joyful living.
