Online Yoga CPD

The online CPD is an introduction to yoga for Physio’s and other AHP’s. If you are new to yoga or new to integrating yoga into your clinical work then I recommend that you start with the foundations. This is both a practical and theoretical course. Click on the foundations course below to see what lessons are included.

If you are a yoga teacher as well as an AHP, if you have studied with me previously or if you’re already integrating yoga into your clinical work then I suggest having a look at the workshop series.

There are also some “bundles” or special offers with great discounts if you wish to purchase more than one course/workshop.

I am currently changing how people access these resources and courses. If you are interested to purchase a course or if you have already purchased and want access please email yogaphysiotherapy@gmail.com

If you are here looking for videos to follow for your own practice then take a look at the free resources offered below.

It is always important that practices in yoga are suited to the person practising them. Especially as this is online rather than in person, it is even more important that you make sure that the video is suitable for you.

These videos are not intended to substitute for medical advice, assessment or treatment. If you have any concerns at all please get in touch with Lin before doing this practice. It may be advisable to seek advice from a medical professional before starting any new practices.

Yoga Nidra- transitions

This 25 minute Yoga Nidra was recorded live during a class at the cusp of Autumn. The theme of the class was transitions and how we move through them. And if we can move slowly- with grace and with awareness, there may be something very special to be gained.

Seated Yoga

This 42 minute video was created for an online conference for people with a specific health condition. The whole video is completed in sitting and no props are required.

Yoga in lying. Relax:restore

This 55 minute video is completed totally in a lying position. It is suitable for people who are looking for a yoga practice lying down- whether it’s as a restorative practice, for management of fatigue, or being in bed.

45 minute Yoga

This video is a flowing practice that moves between different postures and between the floor and standing. This video is appropriate for you if you can move from the floor to standing and to different postures with ease and speed.

YogaPhysio programme- spinal mobility

This programme was created for a client with back pain. It focuses on quality of breath, diaphragmatic breathing, spinal mobility and finding ease of movement within a comfortable range.

YogaPhysio programme- hip & leg strength

This 34 minute practice was created for a client with multiple sclerosis to target their hip strength. It is a physiotherapy programme of simple leg and hip strengthening exercises in sitting and lying. It starts with some postural and trunk work in sitting. The video shows the lying exercises on the floor but it could be on a bed or even a sofa. Using the breath to time and initiate movements is a way to bring in an element of Yoga to a Physiotherapy exercise programme.
