CPD courses for Physio's and other AHP's
Integrating Yoga with clinical therapies such as Physio & Occupational Therapy is a relatively new and developing area. These CPD courses & workshops will give you an introduction to Yoga and how you can use it within your clinical practice. They are primarily aimed at Physiotherapists working within neurology. Some are also appropriate for other specialities & allied professionals.
Intro to Yoga- part 1 (Recordings)
This online course provides an introduction to Yoga for Physiotherapists and other AHP’s working in Neurology. Containing over 1 hour of theoretical learning content plus 2.5 hours of practice videos and audios this is a great precursor to a practical course or it can act as a stand alone course.
As this is pre-recorded it allows you to complete it in your own time and return to the practices and lessons as often as you like. Providing theoretical learning around Yoga and how to adapt Yoga in your clinical work it blends well with the more practical based live stream Zoom workshops.

Intro to Seated Yoga

We will explore, practise and learn seated yoga practices. You will leave with a small repertoire of postures and practices to use with clients in both 1:1 and group settings.

Intro to Yoga for Pain Management

This will provide an introduction to some aspects of yoga philosophy. We will discuss how they may be relevant to a person with persistent pain. You will also experience and learn practices which can aid in someone’s pain management.
Intro to Yoga in Lying
20/03/21 09:00-12:30
The principles of yoga are universal and they aren’t reliant on any specific physical attributes. In this workshop we will explore the principles of yoga and asanas (postures) whilst in lying. You will come away with a handful of practices to use with clients whilst also having experienced being in the space of mind-body connection that is yoga.

Online workshop: An Intro to Yoga in Neurology- The Sun Salutations
Saturday 21st November 2020 09:00-12:00
This 3 hour workshop is a practical follow on to the pre-recorded “Intro to Yoga for Neuro Therapists”. It is suitable for Physiotherapist’s and other AHP’s who work in neurology & rehabilitation, and who have completed the pre-recorded intro or who have completed an intro day course with Lin.
If you haven’t yet completed the pre-recorded course you have the option during booking to receive the course at a discount of 50%, which makes it just £20 for over 3 hours of content. Make sure you tick the box during booking.
A recording of the workshop will be available for all paid bookings for 1 week following the workshop.
