Terms and conditions

These terms & conditions refer to;

1) In person classes and private sessions 2) Online classes and private sessions 3) Online courses/resources.

A 24 hour notice cancellation policy is in place. If you cancel your appointment/class with less than 24 hours notice the full payment will be taken. You can cancel or change your booking by contacting Lin at yogaphysiotherapy@gmail.com or 07841 763604.

In some unseen circumstances Lin may need to cancel a class/appointment with no notice. In the event of this happening you will be given the option to transfer your class/appointment to another date or receive a refund.

For term of classes or a course of classes all dates need to be booked and paid for. Once the course/term has started no refunds will be given for non attendance or if you cancel (even if with 24 hours notice) except in exceptional circumstances.

For term bookings if you provide adequate notice of non attendance I may be able to fill your space. In this instance I can transfer the cost of the missed class to your next term booking. It is not guaranteed that it will be possible to fill your space.

For people new to classes and working with me, you are welcome to a refund of the remaining dates in the block if, after attending your first class you decide they aren’t for you. In this instance you must inform Lin Leong via email within 48 hours of completing your first class.

By booking and attending class you agree:

That you are participating voluntarily in the class with Lin Leong. You agree that you are in suitable physically health and that you have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation.

You agree that you will alert the teacher prior to class of any injury, health condition or restrictions which are relevant to the class.

All new students must complete the health form which will be emailed to you on booking your class. If it is appropriate Lin may contact you prior to the class to discuss any specific health needs or information.

If your health changes or you have new pain or injury you are required to let Lin know before next attending class.

Online classes and sessions are via Zoom. Zoom isn’t fully protected from a data security point of view and so you may wish not to share certain information during the class/session.

Prior to initial 1:1 sessions Lin will either call you or you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire to obtain any relevant personal information. If there is anything you wish to discuss separately at any time please let Lin know and she will call you.

If you choose to have your camera switched on, everyone joining the online class will be able to see you, and anyone else who is in the room and in view. You have the option to switch your camera off which means you will see me but I can’t see you.

Efforts and expertise are always in place to keep you safe. However in an online class Lin cannot provide input in the same way as an in person class. You are always encouraged to work within your ability for that day and this is more important when practising online. Please ensure you are in a place at home that provides additional support, if required, when standing and any other support that may be required. This may require you to move to a different part of your home during a class to keep yourself safe and secure.

Lin cannot be held responsible for any technology or connection problems that you may have. In the event of Lin having technology or connection problems the class may be cancelled in which case you will receive a refund or a transfer of your class to an alternative date. If a significant portion of the class has already been completed then the class may finish early, with no refund or transfer of payment.

Classes/workshops are recorded. It is only Lin’s screen that is recorded, however if you unmute and speak during the class/workshop then your voice and your video may be captured on the recording. As an alternative, you also have the option to send a private message in the chat function of Zoom.

CPD courses are relevant for Physiotherapists and other AHP’s. They are for learning purposes only. The application of the learning  and the decision whether it is within your professional scope of practice remains under your responsibility. It is advisable to seek advice from your professional body.

Full refund guarantee- If you purchase a course or workshop recording and you genuinely feel that it is not relevant or you have found no benefit from the learning you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Please email yogaphysiotherapy@gmail.com to request this.
